Madrid, February 1971. A clandestine venue becomes a refuge for a diverse, colorful, light-filled community. Behind its discreet façade, the city’s most well-known drag performers take to the stage every night, under the illusion of freedom the place offers them. The dream ends with the echo of heavy boots. The magic breaks, law enforcement officers appear, and faces shift from joy to fear. Another night shattered.
