Aleixandri Studio won the 25th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award with its debut collection,Violetas, a tribute to travestism during the dark years of the Franco dictatorship.

The collection was praised for its strong conceptual approach and applauded for the quality of its pattern-making and craftsmanship.
